By Air
Messina has no airport but it has some direct connection with the Reggio
Calabria airport and the Catania
airport.If you arrive in Reggio Calabria, a shuttle bus will bring you directly in Messina.
If you arrive in Catania, you can use the SAIS bus to Messina.
It is also possible to arrive in Messina from Palermo and continue by train.

A more suggestive alternative consists in arriving by sea, acrossing the
Stretto di Messina by boat. In such a case, you can chose one of these private
companies:Tourist Ferry Boat (from Villa S. Giovanni and Reggio Calabria)
N.G.I. (from Reggio Calabria)
Tirrenia (from Naples)
When in Messina, you can reach your hotel or visit the city.
